SEO Task Manager (Kanban View)

Overview

The Kanban View transforms your static audit report into an actionable project management board. Instead of just looking at a list of errors, you can convert specific issues into "Tickets," assign them to team members, and track their progress from "To Do" to "Done."

Phase 1: Creating Tickets from the Audit

You don't need to manually type out tasks. You can push issues directly from your audit report to the board.

Step 1: Select Issues

  1. Navigate to your Project Overview and click "View Report" to see the "All Issues" list.

  2. Review the list of errors (e.g., 404 Page, Missing H1).

  3. Check the boxes next to the specific issues you want to fix right now. You can select one or multiple.

Step 2: Push to Kanban

  1. Once selected, look for the "Add to Kanban" (or "Create Ticket") action button at the top of the list.

  2. The system will automatically generate a ticket for each selected issue, including details like the specific URL and the error type.

Phase 2: Managing the Board

To access the board, click the "Kanban View" button on your main Project Dashboard (top right corner).

The Board Layout

The board is divided into standard workflow columns:

  • To Do: New tickets that haven't been touched yet.

  • In Progress: Issues currently being fixed by a developer or content writer.

  • Done: Issues that are resolved (ready for re-crawling).

Moving Cards

  • Drag & Drop: Simply click and hold a card to drag it from one column to another.

  • Visual Status: This gives you an instant visual status of your SEO project's health.

Phase 3: Team Collaboration

The Kanban view is designed for teams. You can assign specific technical fixes to developers and content fixes to writers.

Assigning Tasks

  1. Click on any Ticket Card to open the details view.

  2. Locate the "Assignee" field.

  3. Select a team member from the dropdown list.

    • Note: You must invite team members to your project first via the Account Settings.

  4. The user's avatar will appear on the card, making it clear who is responsible for that task.

Task Details

Inside each card, you can also:

  • Add Descriptions: Clarify exactly what needs to be done.

  • Set Due Dates: Ensure critical errors are fixed before the next scheduled crawl.
