Notes

Overview

The HostspotSEO Notes is a built-in productivity tool designed to help you organize SEO tasks, reminders, and client feedback directly within the Hotspot SEO dashboard. It uses a colour-coded priority system to keep your workflow organized.

How to Access

Click "Notes" in the left sidebar navigation.

Managing Notes

1. Creating a New Note

1. Click the blue "Add Note" button in the top right corner of the workspace.

2. Content: Type your task or reminder in the text editor.

3. Colour Coding (Priority): Select a colour circle at the bottom to categorize the task:

• Blue (Primary): General tasks.

• Cyan (Info): Reference information.

• Green (Success): Completed milestones or positive findings.

• Yellow (Warning): Items to watch or potential issues.

• Red (Error): Critical fixes required immediately.

4. Save: Click the checkmark or save button to store the task.

2. Filtering & Searching

To find specific tasks in a busy list, use the filter panel on the left side:

• Search Bar: Type keywords into the "Search Notes" box to filter by text.

• Category Filter: Check the boxes to view only specific types (e.g., check Error to see only red priority tasks).

3. Editing & Deleting

• Edit: Click on any item in the "All Notes" list on the left. The content will appear in the main "Edit Note" pane where you can modify the text or change the priority color.

Delete: Click the Trash Can icon next to any item in the list to permanently remove it
